♡ SUMMER SHORT TRENDS! ♡
Summer is officially here! As we have barbeques, swim, and go to the beach, most of the time we're going to wear shorts. And this year, shorts have many different trends...all of which are cute and stylish! Depending on your style and body, determine what shorts are right for you. Here are just some ideas and my opinions on different styles of shorts.
#1 GOOD OL' DENIM
Left to Right- Delia's, American Eagle, American Eagle
You can't go wrong with these! From light to medium to dark wash, they're all adorable and perfect for summer. They go with practically anything. Some are distressed (I personally don't those) and others have cute lace or details on them such as the middle pair in my picture. These are always a good option!!
#2 NEON
Both from Target Kids

Neon is a huge summer trend. Neon nails, neon bags, neon everything! Here I have a highlighter yellow pair and a bright purple. They are super cute to pair with a basic patterned shirt or another solid color for color blocking. Also, neon against your skin gives it the illusion of being tanner!
#3 FLORAL
Left to Right- Delias, Aeropostale, Delias

I love floral shorts, they're so cute! I like to style them by taking a color of one of the flowers and wearing a solid tank or tee. They had a girly vibe to your look and are perfect for the spring and summer!
#4 HIGH WAISTED
I don't own any high waisted shorts because I don't think they look good on me, my butt looks weird in them! Haha :) But they look darling on others, and if you like them, go for it! They look nice with a loose crop top or tee shirt and with a tucked in shirt.
Hope you enjoyed this post and your summer is going well so far! These are just some ideas for styling shorts for the next couple months, and I would love to hear what are your favorite shorts in the comments! Thanks as always for reading, commenting, and following my blog. FOLLOW ON BLOGLOVIN SO I DON'T LOSE MY LOVELY FOLLOWERS :( It means the world to me! :) Enjoy your day and smile. ♡

♥ SHORE SOAP CO. SCRUB REVIEW! ♥
Hey everyone! I have a great product and company to tell you all about! Shore Soap Co. is a new company, in Newport, Rhode Island, that sells homemade scrubs, soaps, lotions, and more.  They use sea salt, sugar, shea butter, and all natural ingredients to create long lasting and quality products!
I was vacationing in Newport, Rhode Island during April and bought the Lazy Lavender Sugar Scrub for $16. They have three other scents which include Original, Captain's Cocktail, and Keylime Cruise.
The description of this scrub on the website is:
Lazy Lavender contains lavender essential oil which is a great soothing scent, perfect for winding down after a long day. Our sugar scrub is designed to exfoliate your skin, removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells, leaving your skin softer and smoother. It is one of the gentlest types of body scrubs, making it a good choice for extremely sensitive skin. The sugar is combined with shea butter and natural oils which helps hydrate your skin.

Because all of these products are made by hand there is a post on how they actually make the sugar scrub!
http://shoresoapco.com/blogs/news/7817419-making-sugar-scrub
This is awesome because you can actually see and know what ingredients you're putting on your body! Too many products contain sulfates and artificial ingredients that can irritate skin. These products are made naturally, so even the most sensitive of skins won't become irritated! :)

Application: I apply some of this product on my arms, legs, and anywhere else I'd like before getting in the shower. This is just easier for me because it doesn't all wash off while I'm putting it on my skin. I get in the shower and rub it gently into my skin You can feel the sugar exfoliating your skin, but the oils keep your skin soft! I happily smell the lavender and wash it off. After my shower, I usually put lotion on but it's not necessary because this product makes your skin so soft!
Opinion: I absolutely love this product! The scent is dreamy and relaxing after a long day. The scrub is not harsh or stripping of my skin, which I find most scrubs are. Because of the Rice bran oil, olive oil, and shea butter, your skin is left feeling extremely moisturized and smooth! You don't even need to lather up in lotion after using this! I would highly recommend this to everyone! No matter what your skin type, this scrub will
remove dead skin cells on the surface of your skin and make your skin extremely soft.

Bargain: Lush's Ocean Salt is another body scrub. The small size is 4.2 oz and $21.95 and the larger size is 8.8 oz. and $35.95..all the scrubs at Shore Soap Co. are 9 oz and $16! (I actually prefer this to Lush's Ocean Salt because it does not strip my skin or make it red.)

What if I want this product but don't live anywhere near Rhode Island?
Don't fear! Shore Soap Co. has a website:
that ships to anywhere in the United States. They also sell gift baskets which would be awesome for a gift for a friend or family member or if you just want to try out an array of their products for a good deal!!
              ♥                                                            ♥                                             ♥
Hope you guys enjoyed this review and will check out this brand! They also sell soaps, moisturizers, and more, and keep your eyes out for another review on one of their other products! Thank you for reading, I love to read your comments and follow if you want more! :) Hope you guys are having an awesome day, don't forget to smile, and enjoy summer! :)

✌ NAIL POLISH OF THE DAY #2! ✌
Okay, so I saw this watermelon manicure on Pintrest and wanted to try it! Just so everyone knows (and can probably tell), I'm not particularly good at painting my nails, and there are multiple mistakes! Haha you should see my other hand! I tried my best at these watermelon nails!
These are the colors I used:
Black: Wet n Wild's Black Creme
Red: Wet n Wild's Red Red
Green: Kiss Nail Art Paint
1.) I used my usual base coat (OPI Natural Nail Base Coat) and applied two coats of the red nail polish on all nails.
2.) I used the green striper to make a thin green line at the top of my nail.
3.) Using toothpicks dipped in the black polish, I made random dots/marks on the red part of the nail to act as seeds.
This is a cute,  fairly simple manicure for summer! I love watermelons, and I think this came out fine haha :) Hope you're all enjoying your day! Follow my blog if you like! I always respond to comments!:)
ALSO!! Help me understand what's happening when Google Reader goes byeybye? Do you follow people by BlogLovin? Will you keep all followers from Blogspot and move to Bloglovin? Very confused! Would love help haha :)

★ LUSH GOODIES!★
This is The Sweetest Thing package I have, and I wanted to do a little review on it!
The Sweetest Thing
 http://www.lushusa.com/The-Sweetest-Thing/03649,en_US,pd.html?start=2
Sweetie Pie: This is a shower jelly, and I was a little skeptical at first. It's like that goop you make during a chemistry lab haha. It has the scent of blackcurrant and cherry. I didn't think that scent was my favorite, but it smells awesome. :) It has a little sparkle in it too which I don't notice on my body, but sparkles are always fun right? I either just rub the jelly over my body or rub it in my loofah first. Apparently, you can use it in your hair too, but I haven't been that daring! Lathers up really well and if it breaks, you can still use the pieces. It's also extremely fun to hold in your hands haha :)

Godmother Soap: Smells like candy! I use this in the shower, but you can use it to wash your hands as well.  It lasts on your body but not in an obnoxious kind of way. It smells so darn good, and it lathers up well. Have been using it for a few weeks, and it has shrunk slightly but not much. Great product! :)

Bubblegum Lip Scrub: I use the mint chocolate lip scrub, and that works perfectly fine for me. But  for some reason, I think this one gave me irritation. After I started using this, I got weird dry, red patches around my lips, and my lips were super dry and red! No idea why this happened, but it stinks because it smells and tastes super yummy! Has this happened to any of you?
Thank you guys soooo much for 50+ followers! It makes me so happy to see your comments and new followers :) Thank you so much again, you're awesome! :)
Hope you enjoyed this review! Please comment what i should review next and follow if you liked and more posts coming! Good luck to all those who are testing or finishing up before summer break! Have an awesome day :)

✽  SUMMER CLOTHING HAUL! ✽
Hey everyone :)  Summer has started for some and almost beginning for others! I decided it was time to do some summer shopping! :) I love a good deal, so at the stores I bought things at, I had gift cards and coupons plus they were having a large discount off the entire store! :)
These two lovely bikinis were from Delia's! They had a huge sale on bikinis, and I usually have trouble finding one's that fit properly so I gave it a shot! Love them both! The one on the left has thick straps, so it stays up without adjusting it four hundred times haha. The right one has a little extra fabric below the padding which makes it fit more comfortably. Also the thin, pink straps are removable! Can't wait to go swimming!
I also had to get some new one pieces for just an average day the pool. These two are from the brand Dolphin Uglies. They were both half off at a local sporting store. The one on the left is green, blue, and purple. The one on the right has small breast cancer ribbons on it :) Fit nicely and are comfortable!
My first crop top! Yay :) I know it looks funny all stretched out on this picture, but I promise it looks nice in real life. I got this from American Eagle and they also had a gray and a purple. :)

These are two bandeau's from Delias to go under the crop top and other shirts I own. They are one size fits all. Delias had a great deal going get 2 for the price of 1..:)
Love these! They're from American Eagle. I've been looking for a pair of white jeans forever! These are supposed to be cropped, but they fit me well :) White jeans are a big trend for this summer and go with everything!

Love this dress from Delias! :) It's a white dress with little eyelit oval shapes all over it :) It has a white slip under the skirt part so no malfunctions :) My favorite part is the zipper!! Ah such a pretty peachy pink exposed zipper! The skirt flares out a little, like a circle skirt but on a dress!
Another dress from guess where...Delias! Haha :) It's a more lace dress with a pearl and sequin band. It has a cream ribbon to tie in the back. Underneath is a gray cotton material which is sooo soft! Love this dress for more formal occasions :)
Thanks for reading my haul! If you like, comment and follow me! :) Hope you're having a great day. :)

COVERGIRL LIP PERFECTION JUMBO GLOSS BALM REVIEW!
I recently bought the Covergirl Jumbo Gloss Balms from my local drugstore. Each was about $8.99. I got the colors Watermelon Twist (215) and Coral Twist (235) Watermelon twist is a medium pink tone, and coral twist is a more pink kind of coral.
Coral Twist (Top) and Watermelon Twist (Bottom)
When I swatched them on my hand, they looked moderately pigmented, and they have a nice glossy sheen.
Watermelon Twist (Left) and Coral Twist (Right)

When I applied them, they appeared quite matte on my lips. I don't feel or see a glossiness, and they go on kind of thick. This is a balm for a little while, but it does dry out my lips. I have relatively dry lips, but if you don't this will probably be a good balm for you. After applying a little gloss to the lips, I liked the product much more. It gives a little extra sheen to the lips and makes them look more natural.

Overall, I would not buy any more of these but will use the ones I have. I prefer them with a little gloss. What do you think? Have you tried these? If so let me know in the comments! :) Comment what you want me to review next and follow if you like, more blog posts coming soon ♥ Have an awesome day!

<3 FAVORITE SUMMER SCENTS! <3
I'm a body spray/perfume kind of girl. I love to smell nice, and it just makes me feel pretty :) As summer comes around, I look for more fruity, florally, or fresh smelling scents instead of vanillas or heavier ones. Here i have my favorite 4, and I'm so excited to share them with you! <3
#1: Aloha Pink: Description is: "Smells so tropical with juicy lychee and rainbow hibiscus" I don't know about you, but I have no idea what a rainbow hibiscus is lol. To me, it smells fruity like pineapple and a little citrus. Very fresh and clean scent.
#2: Carried Away by Bath and Body Works: Description is:
  • Top Notes: Italian Bergamot, Meyer Lemon, Mandarin, Juicy Pear Nectar, Lush Raspberries
  • Mid Notes: Purple Freesia, White Tuberose, White Jasmine, Soft Violet Petals
  • Dry Notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Whipped Vanilla, Musk
I smell the pear and raspberries. Musk? Not so much. It's very light and fresh smelling. I just spray this over my clothes and then walk through it.
#3: Ralph Lauren Polo Big Pony 2: Description is: “floriental fruity” scent with the key ingredients of cranberry and tonka mousse. It's very fruity and girly, my favorite of the Polo Big Pony Collection. The only problem is I feel like this doesn't last long on me at all.
#4: Pink Beach:Couldn't really find a description on this one, but it's a stronger scent than the rest. It smells beachy! What can I say haha? If you can get your hands on it, I'd definitely check it out :)
Hope you enjoyed my post! :) Follow me if you want more :) Comment telling me what's your favorite summer scent! Would love to know :) Keep on smiling<3
